Saw a tv program the other night where NIH scientists have garnered a passel of patents over the years themselves.
Do you know if they share the information underlying the patent before the patent is issued.
It seems to me that with the situation at the FDA where large pharmas crack the whip and FDA employees jump up and down off chairs of submission to them, along with NIH scientists competing with entrepreneurial based scientists, the cards seem to be stacked against the latter.
