Certainly if Eric can pull this off it will be a genius move. I'm glad the meeting is early in the week, the sooner this is resolved the better. With or without Terminator 3000, TDGI will continue to be grow and be successful. Eric and his team are executing the business plan faster than we could have ever imagined. Investing in a start up company is never easy, but it certainly is exciting and the rewards in my opinion are well worth the risk. GLTA.
At least we now have our meeting. I hope they will can think outside the box, because if we can make a movie that delivers a $20 million to $30 million rights payment, that is an income source they didn't realize was possible.
What an intriguing quote from TDGI CEO Eric Parkinson. Imagine if you had an asset you paid $29.5 Million for 6 months ago, and you had a preconceived idea of how much profit you can make on that asset. Then, some one taps you on the shoulder and says "Hey, we can help you make an EXTRA $20 - $30 Million on that asset. We are a Distribution Company, we are aligned with Red Bear Entertainment to Produce the Project, we have a $70 Million Production Budget and your Rights Payment Fee all lined up, we are ready to go, do you want to sit down and talk with us?"
TDGI/Eric Parkinson now has a Meeting on Tuesday with the Agent for the Terminator Franchise William Morris Endeavor, Timothy Trager, and Pacificor at Pacificor's headquarters in Santa Barbara.
Everyone agrees there was a meeting Tuesday between Pacificor, WME, Attorney Timothy Trager, TDGI and CEO Eric Parkinson. We have not heard a peep yet.
This can only be interpreted as good news. IF there was no interest in the Terminator 3000 Project, that would have been made crystal clear on Tuesday and we would have heard something. This did not happen. Therefore, logic would dictate that the 2 sides are still in discussions, perhaps even hammering out final details.
FACT: The Terminator 3000 Project has not yet been Terminated.
