That's what they say and it's supposed to be proper etiquette, but savvy traders look after themselves first--other traders second and companies third (if at all). It's a dog-eat-your-money-you-worked-like-a-dog-for-world. I mean--look at the CEO. Do you think he sells at the ask? I think not.
They dump at the bid when they need to get out quick. Makes others mad, but there are always a lot of mad folk who play pink sheets. Including me.
