Oh boy here we go again. Deal is finalized. That means negotiations are over and everyone is in agreement with the details and responsibilities on both ends of the deal. All that's left now is for Ne-Yo and lawyers to finish reviewing the written contract drafts and give Ne-Yo the ok to sign on the dotted line.

Definitions and fuzzy talk....

very well may be that every term, condition, even the text on the agreement(s) are "finalized".....certainly possible and likely...and just waiting for signatures. in fact, in the call she mentioned that the deal and short form is attorney approved.

if you're saying "finalized" means not executed, that's no secret......

then again, i'm respecting people's ability to listen and understand the meaning of words, and believe folks understand the difference between a deal being finalized and an agreement being "executed" or "signed."

i've never heard another attorney, in my company or a firm, or in another company, say a deal was "finalized" when they meant executed....

so, finalized is just a fine and dandy word and doesn't mean executed.
