I think the uncertainty today is directly from these two lines in the PR

Hannover House and Red Bear Entertainment will release details of the production timing, financing and principal production personnel later this year, in advance of a proposed January, 2011 start.

That is kind of the most important part of this whole concept. So it is left open for bashers to say it will have a bunch of unknown writers and no orginal stars in it.
