They have two unique products, and a patented process control system to makes them both work correctly.
1) The modular system, which is a batch process.
2) The built-in-place system, which is a continuous plug-flow process for large installations.
Both use mesophillic bacteria that thrive at approximately 100-to-105 F, and generate copious amounts of methane to fuel the generator(s). The low delta-T makes the system easy to insulate in northern climates.
Scrubbers and other spiffy techniques take care of any potential H2S or ammonia stink before the methane gets to the generator(s).
Final effluents are 99% clean (non-potable) water for the farm to re-use, a biologically inert humus (..potting soil-like.) material rich in fertilizing nutrients used for soil amendment, and enough electricity to run a dairy - the farmers house next door - and put power back on the grid..
