Yes, volume always spikes when big buyers come in. In G's case it was Monk. Now that the buying has stopped, it's down about 1/3.
When the team was buying CDIV they brought the price up to 72 cents and volumes around 2 million shares on a few days.
Now with few buyers, the price drifts down and volume does too. Imagine what would happen if sellers decided to try to get out of a million shares in a day. 5 cents? 2 cents? Below a penny?

Those who bought CDIV before its first run can afford to buy a little more during a run up, especially if they can bring in other buyers later on who pick up their shares. They can also make a profit selling at 30 cents, or 10 cents or 2 cents.

It's the guy who jumps in during the runs that really gets hurt.
