Do you think for one moment we would be in this fix if we did not outsource jobs and manufacturing in chasing lower labor costs? Do you think we would be in this fix if we made a concerted effort for alternative energy sources? Do you think we would be in this fix if we didn't fund defense at immoral levels?
Debt is a function of poor decisions of the above. Our trade deficit is a giant sucking sound of dollars out of the country.
So who benefits from those policies? It's not the people of this country so who?
