No, they still use them. Infact, My company is about to go into one next week. I won't say which one I work for, but it is a very large worldwide company and a house hold name. In fact, you would use its name as the description term of the product (genericized). Like using the name Klenex to mean tissue paper, Jello for gelatin, or Google-it for using a search engine.
