We stopped at the Food Lion maybe 2 miles from EXPO, on a hunch. It is the same store from the website photos. JD did not tell me which Food Lion nor does he even know I stopped there. I tried to ask the guy stocking milk if he had any info on the remod, it was a lost cause LMAO. Heres the address.
I just want to say that we didnt "tour" the Food Lion... I just stopped at the one we passed when we left EXPO on a hunch. Its right down the road. Sure enough its the same one from the website. It looks even better in real life than in the pictures.
JD didnt say anything about Food Lion. As a matter of fact last Thursday I asked on the phone how many of them have been completed to date, he said couldnt comment on Food Lion... So during the tour we didnt ask any Food Lion questions.
He didnt suggest or know we were going to the Childrens Home, Southern Candle or the Food Lion.
Childrens home was planned, we called ahead of time to ask. We gave a small contribution when we got there for their time and ended up seeing a beautiful group home, and log Sanctuary with a beautiful view. This was truly a special place. I just wanted to go there to see the work stated on the website, and take a picture or two. We ended up staying for an hour. If you go to the SH meeting, may I suggest you do the same.
On the way back into town from the group home we were looking for a place to eat...we try to find the best "local" places. Drove past Southern Candles and so I pulled in, you cant miss the established retail location if you drive downtown. Bought 4 got 1 free, excellent candles.
