Apropos of the nanoparticles of 2ME2 in the new preparation, I believe that this has no relevance with respect to circulating 2ME2, which circulates as molecular sized moieties and not as the much larger physical particles in the powdered prepartion. The significance of the finer nanoparticles is that, because of the greater surface area of a given quantity of the material, that it dissolves more rapidly in water, allowing a higher concentration of the drug (in molecular form, as with other prepartions) in the bloodstream. One would expect the molecular form of 2ME2 to be able to diffuse fairly readily from the vascular to extravascular space. In any event, the form of the oral preparation (provided that at a molecular level it is 2ME2) should have no bearing on its vascular to extravascular diffusion.
