I really can't explain why because I don't know what went awry.
In a memo way back when, Eric stated that product had to be verified that it was being carried before the locator position was added. (Maybe in reference to Lancaster accounts) But it seems that with the chain accounts that practice has gone out the window. Now it is a matter of how many locations are on their computer and it downloaded. Just like Wally up in Canada. 358 stores, actually carry it, less than half. All others are on computer and can be ordered. That kind of stuff. I find that when I go to an outlet supplied by Lancaster and is on the locator they have it. Sometimes ( like up in Crystal lake area in Chicago land area) I went to two differnts locations and bought but not one employee in either store knew they had it or what it was. But they had it. I totally agree that if the store doesn't have it on the shelf--Don't count it!!
It's like the old thing of" If I wanted it tommorow or next week, I'll buy it tommorow or next week. I'm old fashioned, if I want it I go to the store that has it. Otherwise forget it. I detest buying on line. I broke a cardinal rule and ordered a kit on line overpriced as it was. Just to have the #'s available for Ryan.

WNBD's CEO official response to questions about store locator accuracy is this: We do not “invent” stores to place into the store locator. There is always an impetus. That impetus is always external. This may be a distributor who provides the name of locations that have placed orders for Winning Colours or it may be a retail group of stores that has listed Winning Colours for their group. In the case of the latter, it is a feature of our Customer Service undertaking to the retailer that we provide the retailer’s store locations – and it is expected of us as a feature of the buyer’s decision to list the product. A retail group would not have us enter their locations if it was not the intention of the retailer to service customers at those locations by some means, in due course. By placing a retailer’s location on the Store Locator site, consumers and stores are both assisted because the existence of Winning Colours Stain Remover within the retailer’s computer recorded product inventory mix is revealed. It is simply a fact of retail operations that basic information like this helps bring consumers and retailers together. If we were to receive information in writing that our product has been formally or permanently removed from a retailer’s product mix, then we would also remove those locations.

Its in all the stores it says it is in atlanta and the state of GA.

Also in all the stores in SC that I visited. Ive had folks check a few for me in many other states. In all of them.
