It has nothing to do with the company. I worked in the industry for 14 years.

All of this stuff (transfers, name changes, symbol changes, share class exchanges) takes weeks. There is a lot of paper work, a lot of red tape, and honestly, a lot of people who just don't move as fast as they should.

I would anticipate at least 3 weeks from start to finish.

if paper work is not in order it could take up 2 3-weeks per etrade,they told me typically 3 to 5 days but due to reorganization it could be 3 weeks. gl with your bills

Indeed. I'm in Europe (with Binck Bank) and the name change was done a week ago. They are all under Bravada International Ltd. since the 22nd but I still can't trade with hem. Not that I want to :-) - holding long and strong.
