Just remember my granddaddy's advice: "Don't risk more than you can afford to lose."

I got myself in that position with ABTX, took an even bigger risk with ADVC, and got lucky enough to pay all my debts off.

I don't plan to ever go there again, no matter how sure I am about something.

Charlie - To me there is a fine line between wise speculative investing and just gambling. Suggestion: Perhaps cut your credit card debt at least in half. Those interest rates are killing and can lead to bankruptcy.

Always good to face this question: "If things go totally against me, can I realistically have a way to survive and lead at least a modest life. The refinancing is a final opportunity to pay down the credit card debt. Leave yourself in a situation so that if FASC does not materialize as we believe it will, you at least have crecit card debt that. with some sacrificing in lifestyle, you can pay off in no more than 24 months.Waitedg
