I see it as a way(possibility) of increasing a return by means of a joint venture. Given this scenario, if Northern Dynasty has a 60% interest with regards to a joint venture with Liberty Star in and around the caldera, and Hunter Dickinson had a management(control) agreement with Liberty Star, Hunter Dickinson can retain a 40% interest in that caldera(Big Chunk, etc).

When Northern Dynasty is sold, that 60% interest is sold along with it. If Hunter Dickinson managed(controlled) Liberty Star, it could hold onto that 40% interest held by Liberty Star. This should be noted and based on that caldera being proven.

That is just a scenario, but consider something or similar as a best case.
