WRONG ... the daily short list only includes Gross Shorts on the day.
It does not provide the covers ... many even on the same day.
Only the bimonthly SHO report gives the NET shorts at points in time.
Calls to FINRA have ascertained that the daily short report is somewhat misleading for this reason.
Any shorts not covered go to the SEC's FTD report.

Sorry ... the short conspiracy just doesnt work here.
