I imagine Firefox will become far more than a niche product. You forget that the one thing that can be more powerful than mega-marketing is word of mouth. Firefox is a far superior product, easy to use and free. The only reason I keep IE around is for those sites that do lazy, lousy coding that only IE can properly handle. As Firefox picks up steam, they'll become more and more rare.
