Reasons Why Traders Exit Friday?

I am just curious why traders think they must exit on Friday. What reasons are there for this besides the ones I can think of here?

1.) News could come out over the weekend and hurt the stock.
(I think this highly unlikely in most cases.)
2.) The traders will make more interests off their money in
their own bank accounts than in a brokerage account.

I am just curious.

Enlighten me if you will.
