#2842 RE: DDhawk #2841

Cowboy, I don't have proof that QMC
has completed the benchmarks to date,
but if they have not, why would Rice
be silent? As you say, you would think
they would defend their IR by taking
it back, wouldn't they? Squires has
imposed a silence around the company
activities, other than what is stated
in the 10Q and 10Ks, plus the PRs.
It appears Rice is also complying with it.

Possible reasons for Rice's silence:
1. QMC is in compliance with the
benchmarks.
2. QMC has satisfied Rice that they
are pursuing the goals of the benchmarks
and will complete them with more time,
and Rice has agreed to extensions that
have not been publicized.
3. There is no requirement that achieving the
benchmarks be "announced" publicly by Rice
or QMC. Frustrating, but understandable if
you don't want the competition to know how
far you have progressed.

Regarding financials, QMC has been very
conservative with money and losses are small
and manageable. Squires has sold some of his
shares periodically to pay expenses rather
than dilute shares. Commendable and smart.
Six universities are doing the research.
The business plan in the 10Q lays it all out.
It is no secret how QMC will finance, and the
amounts are very conservative. There will be
no great debt to weigh the company down, as
it seems ALL other solar companies get behind.
Presell, take it to the bank, then build.
That's the way to do it.

From what I can tell, it is business as usual
at QMC and Solterra, and they told us that
they are hard at work on multiple projects and
the June trip to the Middle East and Europe
had multiple successes which will be the cause
of excitement when they are announced. No
timetable was given.

QMC/Solterra has not made a secret of what they
are doing. They are producing the lowest price
and highest quality quantum dot, something they
believe is "disruptive technology" in the
nanoparticle world, and which will be the basis
of a similarly disruptive solar cell at some
time in the near future. The announcements will
come when they come. I don't have a crystal ball,
but I support all the moves Squires has made
in the last year, and from the abstracts of papers
I read, QMC has a singular product and process
that costs billions less than what the competition
is doing for what seems to be similar results.
Lowest cost and highest quality are a killer combo
and will win everytime. IMO and do your own DD.
