no reason for it to drop that low. its value is still trailing KERX even though AEZS will have the European market for perifosine. AEZS-130 news coming down the road

AEZS - agreed it is consolidating well at this level - around the 200DMA.

Very hard to predict the price action given the volatililty of the overall markets. Just look at today and yesterday!! I think $1.00 is more likely a solid support level, but the $0.80's are certainly possible.

Also keep in mind that they did recently file a $85mm shelf on July 1. I think this and the overall market weakness has been keeping investors on the sidelines.
