Let's not forget the industrial demand for silver is increasing. When demand can not be met, paper holders will begin to search for any supplies available. They won't find much, which will lead to the panic. I do not see a shortage of gold developing Therefore, look for gold and silver decoupling as a sign the event is near (Notice I did not say the "End is Near" (smile))...Hanglong.

I agree. But in the end, even those paper holders must buy (convert) the physical silvers.

I'm hoping 'copper standard' will come in play during my life time.

Pre82' copper pennies are so cheap! only 1 cent per coin! LOL
But it has 0.095 ounce of copper in each of them.
It's like accumulating 1/10 oz gold coins except it's copper and dirt cheap!!! I have about 300lbs. of copper pennies now.
