Many companies missed 2008-2009 goals during recession

GORO (gold and silver explorer turning producer) just started production this month.

In the 2007 annual filing, GORO told investors they would start production in 2008 if possible. In 2008, they told investors they would start production in 2009 if possible. In 2009 they told investors early 2010.

GORO missed all of those goals and that's common for these small juniors, especially during the tough economic years of 2008, 2009, and even 2010.

Investors who sold GORO in order to "Punish" GORO for missing those goal dates, missed out on some terrific gains from barely $2.00 per share to a recent $14.00 per share.

Junior Explorers have a tricky road to start production (especially during the worst economic downturn of the past 70 years), but as production approaches, they makes some terrific gains.

Those who want to sell their shares to punish these juniors for missing their goal dates, end up punishing themselves big-time. Think of the poor dude who sold GORO at $2.00 (because GORO missed a goal date), and then watched GORO rise to $14.00 from the sidelines (with his measly $2.00 in his pocket).

Just my opinion, Not a recommendation of any sort
