Excel is definitely the best when it comes to all the bells and whistles for arcane calculations and great charts (I can't believe I am praising a microsoft product!).

But the convenience of Google docs to do simple calculations is really great for this sort of application, where i want to access the spreadsheet instantly from my browser on any computer i am using.

yep...I'm an Excel "geek". I give training sessions at my work all the time on how to use all the bells and whistles in Excel.
