MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- A message from INCA Designs, Inc. (Pink Sheets:IDGI) CEO, Stacy Josloff:

We wanted to take the time to give you a quick update on what’s going on with inca, while we’re diligently working on getting our audited financials caught up. We have added showrooms on the East and West coast to help expand the brand recognition and sales and have bumped up our public relations presence locally and nationally.

Swim Week is always the most exciting and anticipated time of the year for inca. On Friday, July 16th we showcased our 2011 Cruise Collection with an epic celebration and runway show at one of Miami Beach’s most stylish locations, The Setai. The venue proved to be the perfect backdrop to the tribal-themed fête which brought a packed house of over 300 guests including international media outlets, fashion magazine editors and local trendsetters.

The evening began with an intimate media dinner at The Restaurant at The Setai. Fashion editors from SELF, Fitness and People Stylewatch magazines were first in attendance where I got one-on-one interviews and meeting with them. Following dinner guests poured into The Setai’s exotic and expansive outdoor oasis eager to see what this year's cruise collection had in store. In an effort to make this fashion show my own, we threw an unprecedented midnight fashion exposé where models walked the catwalk amongst six tribal drum players and a flame-throwing dancer while guests crowded to get a view.

Models graced the runway in groups of six, each donning a suit from a themed color palette from the collection. This year, inca’s inspiration transported guests to the root of my design inspiration, the inca culture. Suits with intricate beading and Swarovski crystal detailing with retro paisley, wave and ethnic-inspired prints wowed the audience. Feminine ruffles on one-piece cutout monokinis, new under-wired bandeaus and halter styles were paired with muted jewel tones in coral, sky blue, lilac, black and cream. The collection is meant to be mixed and matched and individual colors and textures merge to create any look – from boho-chic to ultimate glamour.

This untraditional event was a perfect example of how an interactive show can draw in and capture the audience. We always try to raise the bar with our runway shows, and Swim Week 2010's debut of our newest collection certainly set the stage for years to come. We had major success at the SwimShow Trade Show at the Miami Beach Convention Center as well and signed many new retail boutiques and specialty stores. Additionally, this year we are participating in ASR Market Place Trade Show in San Diego August 13-15th. We are excited about how well the collection is being received and looking forward to updating you with even more exciting news in the weeks to come!
