Well why would he take FAS and FAZ if he wants to move with the whole market? Sometimes the financials don't move the same as the overall market does.

I personally like SPXU to short the market. Afterall that's the closest and broadest equivalent to the overall US market. Of course Joe's small caps are a possibility as well.

Actually, we in the Den trade the FAS/FAZ, QLD/QID, and TNA/TZA......

You should have all three pairs up in front of you and buy the appropriate vehicle when it gives a buy signal......

I like TZA and TNA over FAZ and FAS, as the former better reflects the overall market conditions and not a particular sector ....
