The reason WC Fields said "you can't cheat an honest man" is that, an honest man cannot be enticed with either ill gotten gains, or threats to other investors.

Quite a silly statement actually. Lots of honest people are cheated everyday - especially in the stock market. In fact, it's happening right here, right now with BEHL. Another few months will prove this out.
