If they couldn't disprove the allegations, that means they do not have enough information to argue against the short position claims.

However...that doesn't imply they think FFGO is being naked short sold, WhatDoesItAllMean. In fact, they made this point explicitly clear earlier by stating "....these allegations of Naked Short Selling are unfounded and that there is absolutely no proof of Naked Short Selling in your Company’s stock."
