Hi Duke,
If you don’t believe, how religious are you? What does that have to do with investing? EVERYTHING. Faith is believing in what you can’t see, smell or touch. Investing in a startup company is having the faith in the CEO and his team and believing they can deliver when there are only words with a vision. As we get closer to being able to see and touch a final product the risk to rewards ratio becomes much clearer. As far as acting like a great investment I’m not sure there really is a definitive format in the beginning for such companies. Having an unlimited bank roll would help but how would Bill Gates and his idea have fit into your definition of a great investment for the future? I don’t have the 100% answer for you, only you can make that decision but I do know from my own DD, my own position is pretty positive. A year and a half ago I really had to have faith as it was best said on Facebook – Solterra “Trusting that people will deliver is very hard to accept. Reaping the rewards for believing is priceless!”. You may want to read this to get a feel of where some of the smarter minds than my own believe companies involved with this technology are headed. http://bit.ly/5ElApo I personally believe the management team led by Mr. Squires is more than competent to bring this 1 billionth of a meter artificial atom and it’s possible uses from a dream to fruition.

Do your own DD and make your own investment decisions. GLTU

Duke; ...QTMM's own Paul Revere, ih8aloss, covered most of it very well
(as usual) but to your question of: "Why..can't they flaunt it ?",
I would add that last I heard, there are in excess of 2,500 companies
heavily involved & financially committed in an extremely competitive
winner-take-all environment, w/ regards to nanotech.
A large number of those are either potentially competitive technologies
or are specifically involved in QDot research & being the 1st-to-market
w/ their products in a variety of applicable sectors.
The way a few of us see it here, QTMM's proprietary knowledge is still at
risk in this type of environment if they show their cards to early.
Be it from potential patent problems if a competing vulture were to
jump on this in its early stages or, letting the cat out of the bag w/
regards to potential partners, projects or clients....my thinking is that
there's probably a poster on the office wall at QTMM that reads:
'Silence is Golden'.
I too, would appreciate the luxury of being able to 'see & touch' the
products (whatever they may be) we're investing in here but that's where
the 'risk vs. rewards' thing comes into play. If we could 'see & touch'
a winning product right now, today...guess what the PPS would look like
right now. That's the difference between Pinks & BigBoard stocks.

After having been battered by a number of Pennystock scams,
I'm not a big believer in 'hope & faith' anymore....I'm after a lot more than that
when deciding how to invest my dwindling dollars. No matter how I paint it,
this is still a highly speculative stock but given the innovative TQDot tech...
the caliber of professionals & scientists involved here...the potential rewards...
and the exhaustive DD compiled & shared here...my money is on QTMM.

In short; "faith & hope" are not good investment strategies & are no substitute
for a large measure of concrete DD.
Having said all that....I will admit to having a high degree of 'trust' in QTMM's
'thinkers & do'ers'....read the resumes' of their 'thinkers':
Dr.Jabbour, Dr.Wong & Dr.Bob for example...
the 'do'ers' would be Squires & Doderer....IMO
I really don't see 'any' of these people as being fakes or scammers.
I (personally) see them as being earnestly interested in making a difference
in this world & measuring their salt by their positive accomplishments in life
as opposed to taking the money & running. To boast this train-of-thought,
I take heart in noting that the share structure here is well preserved in favor
of the investors (& ultimately, the 'insiders' as well)...as it should be.

It's still a gamble but then, so was Apple at one time ....
that's my .10cents worth anyway.

Do your own DD...make your own decisions....gltu
