EW: If I were the carrier, I would want to see the following:

1) Several speed tests at different distances and with different line conditions
2) BER tests for each test
3)Tests with several upper layer protocols.

Hmmm. That's about it. If they work at it, I would say it could be done is days, but probably would be done in a couple of weeks.
