TTC Technology Corp., formerly SmarTire Systems Inc, (SmarTire), was engaged in developing, subcontracting its manufacturing and marketing of tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMSs), which monitor tire pressure and tire temperature in a range of vehicles. It has three wholly owned subsidiaries: SmarTire Technologies Inc., SmarTire USA Inc. and SmarTire Europe Limited. On December 11, 2008, the Company completed the sale of substantially all of this business, comprising substantially all of its assets and certain of its liabilities, to Bendix CVS Canada, Inc. and Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC pursuant to an asset purchase agreement dated December 4, 2008.
