That is a possibility. IMO, considering Mac has been the mastermind behind all the negotiations, he probably feels and/or knows something big is coming and wants a bigger piece of the pie.
Someone mentioned it on another post, but the fact they tied the $5mill loan to an actual bank 'HSBC' is a good sign.
