Newby might be looking at it from a jaded point of view. He might be thinking that his way is the best way and looks at anything involving insurance policies with skepticism. We have all seen the articles and searched out the info on this thoroughly enough that WE know it is a real possibility. They even had a Boston Legal episode that touched on the subject (for those with a more whimsical approach to DD). Life Settlement is real and is possible in our situation.
The only issue is getting it done. How long do such bonds take to assemble? Does the London company we are dealing with have first hand experience in pulling something like this together in the past? What was the result of their previous bond developing attempts? Until we know who we are dealing with, we cannot assess their ability to get us to the finish line.
We can only hope that the Bradley/Lundquist team has what it takes to get QASP the money it needs to carry on with it's ambitious business plan.
