I'd check the math but since BEHL has Jose Sanchez on staff, I feel confident in his ability to work with any issues evaporation may cause.

After all, he ran open pond systems in the Mexican desert for Aurora Biofuels. That is more in line with surface evaporation rates.

So how do you compare the ratio of end product from BEHLs farm to Sapphire's open pond system in the desert of New Mexico, and are you cool with the idea of Shapphire building an open pond system in the desert of New Mexico since the idea of BEHLs location interest you so much?
