I know less about stocks than anyone, but I think the even if there is an MM out there who decides to start buying in the next quarter, they will try another severe bear shake first. It would be out of character for them not to try it again, especially if they believe shareholders are anticipating the buyback to start tomorrow. It would fit in with their mind games to do so, IMO.
