Just remember the quoted stock price is merely what the next person is willing to pay for it.
If it is falling, and everyone thinks it will fall further, it will continue to fall. Eventually that perception will change and it will start to go back up, and everyone will think it will go up, and it will go up.
It doesn't take much to drop a stock when the majority of potential buyers are waiting on the sidelines for a better price.
