#30571 RE: honor #30568

Good evening, Honor:

You raise a very good point.

One of the things that I thought I had learned here was that changing the name to RIM Semi was one way of helping to restore credibility by abandoning and running away as fast as possible from the old history of New Visual. A new name that suggested high tech or Pacific Rim or something was better than keeping an old identity that was embarassing some people connected with NVEI.

But your point is well taken. Are people being encouraged to read Tech Briefings under the RIM Semi logo while the pump is on (or campaign) and the stock is still trading under the NVEI symbol and New Visual Corporation name? Is this a little confusing? Or is this another transition tease for the name change and the move to Portland?

You aren't suggesting for a moment, are you, that mismanagement is being exposed here? If the name change was coming [anybody check with the Utah security regulators lately if RIM Semi is on the horizon?], you would think that they would have planned to pump (or mount a campaign) to coincide with the name change and pump the NEW name. Of course, they could just be clowing around and using the RIM Semi for the aesthetics. Afterall, they did find the wherewithall to finance the pump but they couldn't find the funds to buy new letterheads/file for the name change and they couldn't find the monies to print and mail an Annual Report or stage an Annual Stockholders meeting in 2004. Is something smelling fishy here?
