#138276 RE: scupscup #138266

Scup, I was takeing the week-end off from reading and posting on the board. But I can't help myself on this one.
I don't see all the hulla ballu about the ( possibility) of the loss of Walmart Canada. It would seem conceeding to lower margings would be like flippers chaseing bids lower until they wind up holding nothing but paper.
Walmart Canada has a good presence but lets face it, they are only 320 stores. Just prior to this news we recieved:
P/R
NEW YORK, June 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Winning Brands Corporation http://www.winningbrands.com/ (Pink Sheets: WNBD; Frankfurt: WMU), manufacturer of Winning Colours Stain Remover, World's Most Versatile Cleaning Solution™, has been listed by the Hasty Market group of convenience stores in Southern Ontario, with the signing of a Listing Agreement and Purchase Order yesterday. Winning Brands had announced in Q1 its intention to develop a plan to reach thousands of convenience stores in North America with its advanced cleaning solution, by various means.

Winning Brands CEO Eric Lehner concludes by saying that the Winning Brands Store Locator will start climbing again soon by hundreds of locations. "Our IT team is finalizing the next upgrade to the Store Locator, currently at its 5,000 store maximum, increasing its capacity to 10,000 stores for now. With the recently announced London Drugs listing of pharmacies, the Hasty Market listing, activity in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, South Africa and Europe, and continued growth with Lancaster and other distributor accounts in the USA, we have a backlog to clear-up for sure."

My take on the situation is that maybe Eric will come to the conclusion that they are just another retailer and he has already replaced those few stores; Once the c-store part gets rolling the few Walmart stores will be insignificant. JMHO
