Remember this when the float is truly locked up as it it here..there are less free tradable shares out there.. when this happens the price can move rapidly in either direction on low volume....so in essence when the stock is locked the float becomes much much smaller...

so as an example.... if a stock has a float of say 1 million shares and longs hold 800,000 shares long term the float basically becomes only 200,000 shares making the stock go up hard on news and when you are putting along as we have for the last few weeks waiting on news it begins to trade in a pattern and keep a relative stable price in a certain range..thats what makes a flkoat like so deadly..there are other factors to that come in effect such as MM's short on shares or Air shares as well as shorting the stock..but that is another lesson..for now school is out!!!! :)
