However, based on what WHP03 said, this:

has not happened. They apparently have *not* tested the "first chip platform" at all.

My point is that the legacy of shrouded secrecy, even for things that do not require secrecy, continues.

Additionally, that test was announced as complete on July 31. Tomorrow is October 1. It was supposed to be the first in a series of tests. (How many? Who knows???) Nearly 9 weeks have passed since then. I think we have a right to know what is going on. We should not have to guess. When I guess, I am sometimes wrong, and I don't like to be wrong.
