Yes, there are some doubts, but there also is hope. Those who are waiting to buy at lower prices have to rely on those who currently own to sell. As long as those owning think something good is coming that is not likely to happen, and the bias will continue to be for a price going up. Based on my research--and not just the price direction--I've come to think there is a high likelihood that this deal is real.
If investors can have more meat on the actual company (clients, revenues, CEO, balance sheets, etc) then demand (and price) will continue to rise. If investors get confirmation of a real deal, then the demand will soar by multiples IMO as people will then be willing to bet a lot more that the disconnect between the current market cap and the appropriate market cap has got to be narrowed.
