You can say what you will about me , but I know the truth. At my plant we went from 24 hour,7 days a week, to 8 hours, five days a week. they layed off all the shift supervisors and all the others {production mgr., plant engineer, purchasing agent,maintenance supervisor,shipping supervisor all take turns doing double duty as shift supervisors}. The guy I responded to,{if you had read what he said, is only contracted by chemtura}NOT an employee. He has no clue whats going on inside the corporation, other than they may be giving him work cause its cheaper to hire him than keep an employee on the books. I will say one thing, that may look good; is that cem is very lean as far as operations go, which is sometimes good, but is some instances the equipment suffers.
