I spent time today searching the net on this "European" multinational and found out they have purchased the rights to build a 765MW wind farm in Oklahoma.

My guess is their interest is in Granite Reliable Wind (Noble) and not Laidlaw or the defunct CP. Their expertise is in solar and wind. I also got a call from a friend who reads IHUB that suggests their interest may be Maine where there are a couple of large wind farms planed. "Northern NE" takes in a lot of territory.
