To All the Friends and Shareholders of Laser Energetics:
We have now entered the most exciting and important time in the history of Laser Energetics. We recently announced our new relationship with General Dynamics – Armament and Technical Products (“GD-ATP”), following a press release confirming the relationship that was issued by GD-ATP itself.
This new relationship is one of the most important developments ever for our Company, and is ABSOLUTELY a WIN-WIN situation for all involved! The people at GD-ATP are great to work with, and I’m very excited about the relationship we have developed with them. This relationship with a large defense company and our small technology company will result in superior quality, marketing and sales, resulting in a greater return on investment (ROI) for our shareholders.
Status of the Dazer Laser™ - Light Fighting Technologies:
The news about Laser Energetics and General Dynamics-ATP is incredibly significant, and deserves to be touted in the loudest voice possible.
So what does the relationship with GD-ATP mean to LEI?
• No capital requirement for production allowing for rapid ramp up keeping pace with rapid sales
• Quick production turnaround with Dazer Lasers
• ISO 9000 Quality Certification of our products manufactured at GD-ATP
• Main focus on Sales efforts – Demonstrations at prospects sites and attendance at more trade shows with the objective of getting as many Beta site sales (small trial orders with testimonials that turn into large orders) as quickly as possible. This is very key to ensuring big success!
• Further expansion of the Dazer Laser™ product line through development efforts
While our business development and sales teams at LEI have had a great response from current prospects to the Dazer Laser™, there have been some significant objections to the purchase of the Dazer Laser™ that now go away because of the relationship with GD-ATP. Up until just a week ago, our sales team has had to ask our customers for significant minimum purchases with substantial down payments on every sale. We needed the larger orders with the considerable down payment in order to have the capital to increase the production line. Therefore, first deliveries would have taken up to 6 months from the down payment on large orders.
Many countries and organizations that wanted to make smaller trial orders to conduct pilot programs were not able to place orders. That has now changed.
Our team is now working on closing many smaller orders which will bring this “Life-Saving” technology to market now. Larger orders will be freed up as well. We at LEI look forward to bringing you press releases on these sales as they occur. I won’t predict exact times, as we have found that the process of dealing with sovereign nations and large military, law enforcement and security organizations is a complicated one, and involves many variables which we do not control. My commitment to you is I will make statements confirming sales when the money is in the LEI bank account. The relationships we have fostered with prospects through our Dazer Laser™ Sales Team, our Manufacturers Reps, our Distributors and Advisors is “Global” in just one year. Hence our Dazer Laser™ sales team is working on prospective orders north of numbers we have previously printed. Things are getting exciting around here fast!

The delay in sales has helped us in one very important way. It helped us invent our new DPSS GreenStar™ Laser that is now the heart of the Dazer Laser™. This new technology increases our gross margin per unit, and also allows for better performance on the part of the Dazer Laser™. It will provide us with a technological sustainable competitive advantage!
The LEI DPSS GreenStar™ Laser uses the same power laser diode and similar components that our older lasers used to use. The older laser emitted 150mWatts of power output. We previously required two to three of our old lasers to provide adequate power to create effective dazing for the Guardian and the Defender... With our new DPSS GreenStar™ Laser, we now have a power output that is a record setting 511mWatts. We achieved 24% conversion efficiency in our tiny package. In addition, the laser stays cool for more than 10 hours. As a result, we now only need one laser for the Guardian (250mW) and one for the Defender (500mW). This breakthrough will save us $600 on the cost of manufacture of the Guardian and $1,100 on the Defender.
Laser Energetics will not stop until we’re at the top! With GD-ATP manufacturing the Dazer Laser for LEI, we can ensure greater speed to market and take advantage of the vast opportunity we have created. GD-ATP will be able to handle our order volume, which we know will be outstanding going forward, keeping us from the distraction of trying to raise money for the added capacity of the production line.
This great relationship allows us to focus on SALES – SALES – SALES! Now our Dazer Laser Sales Team, our Manufacturers Representatives and our present and future stocking Distributors, along with our new team of Advisors for US Department of Defense Sales, complete a very important relationship with GD-ATP, allowing us to close orders more efficiently as well as rapidly. This will allow us to focus on further development of new Dazer Laser products and the rest of our laser technology portfolio and business.
