REMINDS ME OF one of the absolute best sales stories i ever heard came from the town called spokane thats eastern washington on the idaho border.
a man in work clothes and not very clean (must have just finished his day)came to the local freightliner sales office inquiring about some new trucks, all the "pro's" in the sales group looked him over and said to the new kid this guy is yours, he's only going to waste our time. he said OK, and for the next two hours they looked at and discussed all the models and their weaknesses and strengths and when the young lad finally took him to his office the guys were quietly laughing at him for the "joke" played, but their laughter turned to dismay as he GOT the order for not one or two new freightliners but 60 (sixty)new freightliners. and to top it off they added almost 10,000 a piece in upgrades the young man had talked him into getting. to say this is amazing by a young man willing to talk to an older man "about" trucks is an understatement.
