I lost my Dad when I was just in my 20's but I have so many wonderful memories. A Dsd will always be a very special part of a little girl, no matter how old she becomes.
Make small traditions with them that they will always remember. One of my best is playing minature golf with my dad on all of my birthdays and my Dad making breakfast for dinner on a rainy night.
