Level, This is the first dividend for me as well, but, as I understand it, if it is cash or stock, it will appear in your brokerage account as long as you qualify for the dividend once the Record Date and Pay Date are announced.
Regarding your shares, your selling strategy is up to you. Many will likely hold a core position for the dividend and sell some to get back their initial investment and also take some profits. Also, it is not clear what will happen to FFGO after the dividend so, in my case, I will also hold some to see how things pan out.
