Scottrade will not allow this. This message appears: "Unable to enter the order because the limit price entered is too far away from the market price for stocks under $10."

It looks like the KAT Pack is uniting in solidarity, and this list does not include those that don't post publicly or are not on iHub.
Here was my original request:

A show of solidarity? Who's with me? Seriously.

I've continuously posted about the great potential we have with this company, and I believe that most of you here agree.

I suggested the other day that we all put in "sell orders" for something like $1, just to have them on the books, and to show good faith that we believe in the company and that the stock is valued at much more...

I already called in my order to Scottrade for a sell of several hundred thousand shares at $1. I imagine we (collectively) own tens (or hundreds) of millions of shares of KATX, so I just figured it would make a statement to MMs filling orders and perhaps to the shareholders who are watching...

Anyways, wouldn't it be a nice show of solidarity at least?

Who's with me? Put in a sell order for all your shares at $1. After all, you won't have to actually sell. I imagine you'll have plenty of notice before the pps gets anywhere near that price. LOL.

P.S. I'm not saying to do this because I think it will keep MMs from borrowing your shares and I'm not even going to get into whether that is true or not. This is strictly meant to be a show of solidarity among shareholders.

Followed up with this:

I understand many feel the $1 sell price was too low, but remember this wasn't meant to actually sell at $1.00, but rather to show solidarity, meaning we're together. I'm not sure what effect it will have with sell orders that are all over the place-ranging from $1 to $10. It might confuse folks if they start showing up on the books and folks won't know if the ask is legit or just "crazy" (in their mind). Trust me, when this baby starts to run, you'll have plenty of time to increase your ask price.

I would say a nice, round, even number such as $1, or $2 would be nice and would show uniformity on the books. This way the high ask prices aren't all out of whack, ie. $1 one minute, $5.99 the next, then $3.00, etc. Remember, this won't have to be the price you actually sell at.

And again, if you guys like this idea of solidarity, please respond to the original request so we can see who's on board:

I use Scottrade as well, and I had to call it in.
They said "you realize this stock is only trading at 12 cent right? The MM is not comfortable placing the order that high."
I replied, "tell them thanks for their concern, now place the order." LOL
And so they did. True story.
