This is very similar to the Bank Nationalization scare when stocks like BAC traded as low as $3 last year. The congressional hearings were mid Feb 2009 i believe.

Only difference this time they are messin with the environment instead of just stealing taxpayer money thru TARP. There is no reason it should have taken 57 days for the government to just determine how much oil was actually leaking. Makes no common sense whatsoever. This is all bullchit from both BP and the administration trying to force an agenda.
