#1406 RE: Headley Lamar #1405

Headley, that very thought about a buyback here being at a level higher than the Starr price was in the back of my mind when i wrote the post about CCME possibly considering a buyback. (In JADA's case, they had NOT done any prior offerings or PIPEs.)

So, yes, i have to agree with you that it would look a little strange.... Yet a clearly-worded P/E outlining the rationale might say something to the effect that, "for the sake of increasing shareholder value during the present market correction, and finding the current shareprice to be quite undervalued in terms of P/E and PEG, and anticipating further positive announcements and likely analyst coverage, management considers it the optimal time to demonstrate to its shareholders and to the wider community the value of its shares. Hence our plan to buy X number of CCME shares..."

Or words to that effect...

The larger point here is to help "re-set" CCME's price to a higher level.

It would be great if a buyback announcement could be timed before, but rather close to further positive news of expansion or an acquisition.
