And with Katrina, Bush had to battle the local government who did nothing ...
Obama has a very helpful local government that he is not taking advantage of.

give it up... There is no leadership here, just a "acting president"....... the Dems are even complaining about his leadership. Instead of WWBD, which is always their answer for criticism, they should be asking, "What is best for the country?". True leaders accept responsibility, never blame knowing that most people aren't leaders and the world system is corrupt and just take the bull by the horn, fixing the problem. Poor leadership, looks to blame, doesn't know how to lead and are not effective. The failure of Freddie and Fannie are just more evidence of the government's failure... wonder if Franklin Raines and the rest will be investigated by the Senate.... WWBD.... Why not ask those questions?????

Yes, Franklin Raines who took Fannie Mae from preferred lender to subprime lender under pressure from the Democratic Black Caucus under the guise of the Home Affordable Act.

Funny how when his actions where questioned in Congressional hearings, Maxine Waters(black) called it a witch hunt. These fools have no clue what they are doing. They just won a popularity contest by gettng elected to office.
